Why was the title changed? I mean, why was it that the American version tries to steer clear of the possibly true beliefs, you know, with Alchemy... Someone please get back to me on that!

I don't know why the title was changed, but i do know that that only the U.S. version was called Sorcerers stone

I know, that's why I was wondering... Perhaps someone who's from England or something could help me out... or maybe, I should check out the Harry Potter website (or any of the other ones out there!!)

Maybe there's some sort of interview with J.K. Rowling in which she discusses the differences in names of the same novel! To the library, where I hope to find adequate results!
